We received the first rebar tying gun for our steel fixers to trial a few months ago. Not only has our crew made meaningful gains in terms of the time spent tying, they also find the process far less fatiguing by eliminated the need to constantly bend down to wrap and cut the tie wires.
This has lead to a measurable increase in productivity, delivering a bankable improvement in the amount of steel placed per hour, as well as reducing the repetitive stress our crew members must endure on site. We now get more work done in less hours and/or with less personnel, which has allowed us to confidently reduce the rate per tonne our clients are charged
